This page is more important than any other page. More important than the page where you place your orders. This is the page that expresses the inspiration behind the passion to make and play drums.

Every drum I make looks totally different from any other. That is the cool part about the nature of the wood. You never know what pattern you are going to find. You may find some that look similar but still each is distinctive and unique in its design. God did that. As the Creator He takes great pleasure in creating something that is totally one of a kind.

He is the same way with His most precious and wondrous creation, us. In Psalms 139:13,14 it says that God knit us in our mother’s womb and also that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are more than just a biological consequence. We were made with a purpose, His purpose. We were made in His image and likeness.

We are all UNIQUE!

We were made to follow in His footsteps and create. That is why I make cajon drums. It is the Spirit of Him who placed the stars in the heavens that moves me to make these drums.

It was that same Spirit that compelled me, no, drew me to look for someone greater than my circumstances or myself when I was much younger. At age 16 I came to a point of decision. Did I want my life to continue as it was, empty and lifeless? Or did I want to take a chance that God was real. That Jesus was really His son and that He died for me and my sins.

I was definitely no angel. Not by any stretch of the imagination. I was angry, bitter, and resentful. I was also hurting inside. But Jesus changed all that. He was the only one who could heal my heart as well as my soul. When the scripture says that He came to give us life and to have it to the full (John 10:10)those are not just nice words. They are truth.

It is exactly what happens when you invite, ask, and receive Jesus into your heart and life. He takes the emptiness inside and replaces it with His life and love. He makes the old new and wipes away the past(1 Corinthians 5:17). Just like what happens when you clean off a chalkboard. You get a clean start. That is forgiveness.

As you read this you have a decision to make. Is this guy just another goof or religious nut or does he make sense? Is Jesus real? If Jesus is real then what do I do now? That’s easy. Just ask Him into your heart and life, something like this: “Jesus. I need you in my life. I need you in my heart. I need to know that you love me. I need forgiveness. I need a new start. A new beginning. I just need you, I ask this in your name, Amen.”

That’s it. Now you just start living that new life that God gives you. All your problems won’t magically disappear. Some of them might. Maybe even a lot of them. But the important thing is that He will give you the strength to overcome those problems.

I want to give you the opportunity to write me and let me know if you asked Jesus into your life or if you have any questions. You probably weren’t expecting all this when you went to look at some drums but God knew you would find your way here. That is how much He loves you!!!
