Sorry I took so long in replying. I received the drum and it plays great. Looking forward to utilizing it some drumming planned with at-risk youth in our area. Attached is a file with the drum and me.

I LOVE the drum...! I'm so glad I hadn't bought one in the music store yet. This oak one is far better than anything I've seen..! 

I received it safely last Thursday and I played it a lot that night, as well as at a band rehearsal on Sat. and at a youth event we call "Jesus Fest" that we run the last Sunday night of every month for church youth groups from all denominations around our area. (We started it 7 months ago - we're over 450 teens attending now and growing!)

Everyone really enjoyed it. We miked it, too. Sound engineer was really digging the sound... I'm already planning to record a song with it (finishing up an album of percussion/ acappella music right now).

Hey, I got a cajon a while back from you on eBay and  I love the thing. I have a djembe that I paid a lot more  for and I use the cajon way more.  It's great for church youth group stuff and just playing in acoustic settings.

My Cajon arrived UPS yesterday intact and ready to jam on (my poor wife!).  It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and sounds fantastic!  I have never played a cajon but took right to it.  I love the deep bass tones.  Thanks again for your efforts and I'll be sure to send you some pictures in the future.
